WELCOME THE 2016 INDUCTEES OF THE NATIONAL COALITION OF 100 BLACK WOMEN, DELAWARE CHAPTER INC.

A standing room only crowd gathered at the Christiana Cultural Arts Center in Wilmington to cheer on twenty black women as they were inducted into one of Delaware’s most prestigious organizations for African American Women.  NCBW’s  mission is simple, it’s to have a measurable impact on the community by advocating on behalf of women and girls through strategic alliances that take action nationally and locally by promoting public policy agendas related to health, education, leadership development, gender equity and economic empowerment. The National Coalition of 100 Black Women (NCBW), Delaware Chapter is a local affiliate of a national non-profit advocacy group whose mission is to advocate on behalf of Black women and other women of color through national and local actions and strategic alliances that promote leadership development and gender equity in the areas of health, education and economic empowerment.
