President
Kimberley Chambers
It is my honor to serve as the 9th President of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. - Delaware Chapter (NC100BW-DE). NC100BW-DE is committed to advocating on behalf of Black women and girls and to promote leadership development and gender equity in the areas of health, education, and economic empowerment. This is my priority as well.

National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. - Delaware Chapter has done some great work over the years including

-
Mary Ann Shadd Cary and Margaret Rose Henry Civic Engagement Program- our civic engagement program that has trained over 100 women to become advocates and community leaders
-
Gentlemen’s Cook-off – our signature event that raises funds for our scholarship program
-
Dr. Teresa D. Drummond Scholarship – our scholarship program that provides scholarships to traditional and non-traditional students.
-
Sisters Saving Sisters – our Beyond the Mask initiative designed to raise awareness, provide resources, and educate Black Women and Girls about overcoming and getting beyond COVID-19.
-
State of the Union: Black Girls Research Study – our initiative to gather information on girls on the topics of health, self-esteem, relationships, racism, school experiences, resilience, and social media. The study highlights the lived experiences of Black girls and adolescents to contribute to policy discussions that favorably impact Black girls in the state.
In order to do such impactful work, NC100BW-DE has collaborated with some amazing partners in several spaces. I look forward to continuing to collaborate and build on the outstanding work while expanding and furthering our impact to improve the quality of life for Black women and girls statewide.
